Joey's class took a field trip to Ste. Anne de Detroit Catholic Church, to Mexican Town, and to the Detroit Institute of Arts. I was privileged to Chaperone.

I noticed this coat rack with crutches and braces in a corner of the church. I asked the priest what it was all about. He said that in the 30's and 40's, the church regularly held novenas to Ste. Anne for healing, and these items were left by those who were healed.
